Malawi, Africa—the poorest nation in the world— is undergoing a cultural change. Men are dying of AIDS, and the women are left to fend for their families. However, a lack of education and inexperience is hindering the women from supporting their families and keeping their children fed. But help has come in the form of a tailoring school.
Founded by Dr. Deb Waterbury and Love Everlasting Ministries, a small school is making a big difference in the communities of Malawi. Reap What You Sew is a school where women from all over can come and learn how to make products, start businesses, and run them successfully. You can watch our award-winning documentary short in the link below and help empower women as they begin their new journeys by donating at www.projectmalonda.org. |
